The Mauritania Foundation seeks to continue the noble legacy of Sheikh Salek. Each day, Sheikh Faqih continuously receives messages and requests from individuals facing dire circumstances, seeking assistance and support. We aspire to extend a helping hand to every single person in need through our new initiative - the 500 Strong monthly sadaqah campaign.

Our goal is to assemble a compassionate community of 500 donors, each contributing $20 a month. Through this collective effort, we envision making a significant difference in the lives of those in need. The funds raised will offer assistance in various areas, such as providing essential necessities like food, medicine, and supporting the livelihood of the fuqara and masakeen.​ Join us in our endeavor to uphold Sheikh Salek's legacy and show our love to the misakeen as the Prophet ﷺ made dua :
اللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أَسألُكَ فِعْلَ الْخَيْرَاتِ، وَتَرْكَ الْمُنْكَرَاتِ، وَحُبَّ الْمَسَاكِينِ، وَأَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي، وَتَرْحَمَنِي، وَإِذَا أَرَدْتَ فِتْنَةَ قَوْمٍ فَتَوَفَّنِي غَيْرَ مَفْتُونٍ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ حُبَّكَ، وَحُبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّكَ، وَحُبَّ عَمَلٍ يُقَرِّبُنِي إِلَى حُبِّكَ

(O Allah, I ask You to grant me the performance of good deeds, abandonment of bad ones, and love of the poor; and (I ask You) that You forgive me and have mercy upon me; and if You intend to try a people, cause me to die without being tested; and I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love you, and the love of actions which draw me closer to Your love).
