By the mercy of Allah, we have reached our goal for this emergency Well Pumps Initiative. We had a 2 week deadline, but were able to reach our goal in 2 days. Allahu Akbar!
Shaykh Salek bin Siddina has expressed his gratitude to everyone who has contributed in any way to the success of this initiative. And if anyone intended to donate, but was not able to can still help with water wells by giving in sadaqah as every cent in charitable donations is needed.

Shaykh Tahir, the son of our beloved Shaykh Murabit al Hajj (May Allah Preserve them both) has recently informed Shaykh Salek bin Siddina that a village in close proximity to Tuwamarat is in emergency need of funds within two weeks’ time in order to complete the purchase and installation of new well pumps. This is an extremely urgent matter as functional well pumps are vital to the distribution and utilization of water for the village residents of Mauritania. Shaykh Tahir will be directly overseeing the installation of the pumps once the purchase is complete. For all those interested and able to donate we are seeking $9,000 USD in online donations using the Foundation for Mauritanian Relief and Development as a way to receive and distribute this money to Shaykh Tahir.
